VAPING 101: WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW

Vaping 101: What Parents Need to Know will provide information about e-cigarettes, subtle signs of vaping, and tips to help parents talk to teens about making choices when faced with vaping. The presentation is hosted by District 203 and District 204, in partnership with 360 Youth Services.

MARIJUANA’S IMPACT ON OUR COMMUNITY

Ed Shemelya is a 30-year veteran of the Kentucky State Police (KSP), and a retired KSP Post Commander. He is currently the National Coordinator of the National Marijuana Initiative. Ed will share lessons learned from around the country related to:

  • Today’s marijuana-higher potency/edibles
  • Usage rates for youth and adults
  • Impact on school performance
  • Drugged driving
  • Impact and public health and quality of life
