Judie Caribeaux, MA, LCSW

Judie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has earned a Master of Arts in Communication from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Social Work from Aurora University.  She has 30 years of experience working in non-profits, universities, and municipalities.

 

Most recently, Judie was instrumental in the successful negotiation and implementation of a strategic merger between Metropolitan Family Services DuPage and Family Shelter Service with the goals of serving more victims of domestic violence and providing comprehensive wrap around services. For nearly 6 years, Judie served as the Executive Director for Family Shelter Service which provides crisis services for victims of domestic violence in DuPage County.

 

Additionally, Judie was the Executive Director for Sharing Connections a non-profit furniture bank in Downers Grove. She served as Acting Executive Director for the Naperville Park District while the district’s former Executive Director was under a State’s Attorney’s investigation.  She was originally brought into the park district to create a fundraising department where in the first two years she raised over 2 million dollars.  Judie has also served as the founding Executive Director for the Community Career Center (now known as the Career and Networking Center) in Naperville, and taught at Northern Illinois University, Elmhurst College, North Central College and Aurora University.
