Valerie Tawrel, MHS CADC

Valerie Tawrel has been working in the field of Behavioral Health since 2001 as a Substance Use Disorder therapist working in various settings such as residential and outpatient treatment therapy for women, men, and adolescents. Since 2015, she has concentrated her efforts to include Housing. She believes that Housing is health care, and ultimately a human right. Within the Housing world, she’s worked as a Program Manager for the Men’s Residential Program at Serenity House – served as Supportive Services Program Manager for Daybreak Emergency Shelter (Catholic Charities). Before coming to 360, Valerie worked with veterans experiencing homelessness with the Will County Veterans Assistance Commission – Valerie is excited to have the opportunity to work with young people with an inclusive, dignified approach.
