Julia Balnius, MA, LPC

Julia Balnius, MA, LPC, is a licensed clinical mental health counselor specializing in children and adolescents. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in youth from Northwestern University. Julia is passionate about supporting young people through the challenges that arise during critical stages of development, and she provides a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore their emotions, experiences, and identities. Through a compassionate, client-centered framework, she works collaboratively with children and teens to help them gain insight, build coping skills, and develop a stronger sense of self.

Julia is dedicated to helping youth navigate complex emotions, family dynamics, school stress, and social pressures that may feel overwhelming or difficult to understand. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes empowerment, clarity, and emotional growth, allowing clients to discover their strengths and move forward with confidence.
